A few days before the graduation of our 2025 Knitwear Queens, something happened that we will never forget.
It was their project documentation day.
They were at the studio getting ready for their professional photoshoot while a makeup artist worked on their looks.
While waiting, our CEO stepped out to get a drink from a nearby supermarket.
On her way back, four men sitting along the street called her over.
They asked:
Are you the one graduating students soon?
She replied, "Yes."
They asked again:
Are you the one training those two big girls?
Again, she replied, "Yes."
What happened next was unexpected.
The men thanked her for making the training experience enjoyable for the students. They explained that the way the ladies proudly talked about their upcoming graduation everywhere caught their attention.
Their excitement was contagious.
They also admired the knitted outfit our CEO was wearing and were amazed to learn that she made it herself.
As she was about to leave, they asked for her account details and blessed the Academy with a cash gift of ₦5,000.
Complete strangers.
This beautiful moment reminded us that impact speaks louder than advertisements.
People are watching, listening, and noticing the value of what we do, even when we don't realize it.
To those kind men, thank you for your encouragement and support.
And to our 2025 Knitwear Queens, thank you for carrying your journey with so much pride and joy.
You represented Magleen Designs Academy beautifully.
