One small habit can slowly push the person you love away. Are you doing it without realizing it?

The day she said, "I'm tired of talking," he
realized he had been losing her for years.

For years, Daniel believed he was doing everything right.

He paid the bills.

He worked hard.

He made sure there was food on the table.

To him, that was enough.

But every evening, his wife, Grace, would sit beside him and try to start a conversation.

"Can I tell you something that happened today?"

"Later... I'm tired."

"I've been thinking about something."

"We'll talk tomorrow."

Tomorrow never came.

Little by little, Grace stopped sharing.

When Ada married Chinedu, she didn't expect a perfect life.

She only wanted one thing...

Someone who would listen.

Every evening, she would wait for him to come home. She wanted to tell him about her day, the children, her dreams, and even the little things that made her smile.

But every time she started talking, he was already looking at his phone.

"Hmm..." he would reply without looking up.

Days became weeks.

Weeks became months.

Ada slowly stopped talking.

She no longer shared her worries.

She no longer laughed the way she used to.

One night, Chinedu looked at her and asked,

"Why have you changed? You're so quiet these days."

She smiled gently and replied,

"I didn't change... I just got tired of talking to someone who wasn't listening."

At that moment, he realized something painful.
