Alice O'Connell is an actress who learnt to knit as a consequence of spending so much time filming, which for an actor means lots of waiting... she cast on and off some of her proudest pieces while in corsets, flares or faux blood stained t-shirts! Alice has now been knitting, teaching and taking commissions for over 10 years and has kn

itted for various British Knitwear Designers and Labels before being encouraged by one particular designer to develop her own label. Every Wool & Water piece is knitted by Alice in the strongest and softest natural fibres; Cotton, Alpaca, Merino, Lambswool and Cashmere. Alice only knits 25 of each design making every piece a limited edition.

I was so delighted to knit up a Butterscotch Yellow Bow Tie for a new customer this week, it has already arrived with them along with the other design they ordered. I hope they like it as much as I enjoyed making it for them.

I love adding details in my Bow Ties and one of my favourite is my Wool & Water branded cotton ribbon I use as Bow Tie strap lining.

Printed on natural cotton by and used in all my pieces from Suspenders to Ties and to gift wrap my orders, this is a studio staple that delights me everytime I use it.
