Bonne Suits

A suit designed to fit any occasion, s*x, age or social background; to be worn to the office, the club, at a funeral or a wedding.

Like a schooluniform for life. After having worked as a stylist from a young age, Bonne Reijn (Amsterdam, 1990) noticed something missing in the variety of clothing available to us. He felt compelled to create something that would be oblivious to any occasion, s*x, age, or social expectation, something that would be a key piece in anyone’s life and wardrobe, suitable for informal and formal occasi

ons, and with long lasting quality. In early 2014 Bonne designed a batch of black and white two-pieced suits, and labeled them “BONNE”. Brand and working relation PATTA enabled him to impart on a third party for production. Today these suits are for sale in red, blue, black and white. Sizes are made to fit all men and women, from XXS to XL. THE POOR MANS SUIT

Mixing & Matching

As we are building a base range of uniforms for everyday wear, the sets are not bound to the matching top or bottom. Each piece can be styled as a matching set or mixed and matched freely.

In sailing, the colour red is widely used for signs and markers that help sailors navigate safely. Red lights indicate the port (left) side of a vessel, while red buoys and warning signs mark hazards or important boundaries in the water. The Sign Red colourway hints at these maritime signals that guide and protect sailors at sea.

The Sailor tells the story of sustainable cargo under sail, and with that the story of the Tres Hombres, a cargo sailing ship crossing the Atlantic. But sailing that far is not only a matter of wind and water, it also means maintenance. In their shipyard in Den Helder, the crew spends months preparing the ship, getting her ready for sea again. Plank by plank, rope by rope, the ship gets a yearly retouch.
