Att välja väggfärg måste vara det svåraste i hela renoveringen… känns som det har gått 87 år 🎶

Jag försöker hitta den perfekta nyansen som passar till ekgolvet jag valde att behålla.
Grått tar bort det gula, men det känns inte riktigt som jag.

Jag vill ha värme… men utan att förstärka det gula i golvet (varför är det så svårt?!).
Och som ni ser dras jag hela tiden mot varma, rustika toner, kolla bara bänken 🤎

Så här står jag… testar, målar om, tänker om.
Snälla hjälp mig , vilken färg hade du valt?

Choosing wall colors has to be the hardest part of this whole renovation… honestly, it feels like it’s been 87 years 🎶

I’m trying to find the perfect shade to complement the oak floors I chose to keep.
Greys cancel out the yellow tones ,but they’re just not me.

I want warmth… but not the kind that pulls out the yellow in the floor (why is that so hard?!).
And clearly, I’m drawn to those rustic, warm tones, just look at that bench 🤎

So here I am… testing, repainting, overthinking.
Help a girl out, which one would you choose?

När jag flyttade in bestämde jag mig för att riva ut det gamla plastgolvet och bara hoppas på det bästa… ✨
Och jag hade tur -jag hittade guld.

Under låg ett vackert trägolv som jag slipade ner och behandlade med vitpigment för att förhindra att det gulnar med tiden.
Rummet är fortfarande under utveckling, men jag älskar redan hur det börjar ta form 🤍

When I moved in, I decided to rip out the old plastic flooring and just hope for the best… ✨
And honestly -I struck gold.

Underneath was a beautiful wooden floor. I sanded it down and finished it with a white stain to keep it from turning yellow over time.
The room is still a work in progress, but I’m already in love with how it’s coming together 🤍
