Since graduating, have worked as a fashion designer for two Nepalese Movies; custom stylist and coordinator for different shows organized by Direction Nepal Pty Ltd., and organized charity fashion for orphan children in 2011. also won creative designer award in 2011.Shama Banu has been featured in a very popular book 'UNI" written by well-known journalist and writer Aswini Koirala of Kantipur Publications. There are a number of requirements to become a successful fashion designer especially in the sphere of the clothing line ,must have proper technical knowledge in operating sewing machines, stitching the garments and showing expertise to do embroidery on the clothes.Should have the basic information regarding how to cut the clothes to size, the sense of using colors etc. To be a good fashion designer, persons need to have some basic qualifications. imagination will have to be vast and he will have the strong sense of color combination.
