North Korea launched around 10 ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Saturday, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of South Korea confirmed. The launches occurred from the Sunan area at 1:20 PM local time, coinciding with ongoing joint military exercises between South Korea and the U.S. This marks North Korea’s third ballistic missile test of the year. Japan’s Defense Ministry also confirmed the launch, while North Korea has not commented.
