Heavy Rainfall and Road Safety Concern in Bouddha

The heavy rainfall has made the situation around Bouddha roads even more dangerous, with potholes, unfinished road sections, waterlogging, and slippery surfaces causing serious difficulties for pedestrians, motorists, and local residents.

Unfortunately, many roads were dug up in the name of development just before the monsoon, without completing the construction work on time. During heavy rain, these unfinished roads become extremely hazardous, and accidents are becoming a growing concern.

Development is necessary, but proper planning, timely completion, and road safety must come first. Authorities concerned should urgently inspect the affected roads, fill dangerous potholes, improve drainage, and complete the pending construction before more accidents occur.

We request the concerned authorities to take immediate action to ensure the safety of people travelling through Bouddha.
