Amen Amen Amen 🙏
Angels are not myths or symbols...they are real spiritual beings created by God.
“The existence of the spiritual, non-corporeal beings that Sacred Scripture usually calls ‘angels’ is a truth of faith.” (CCC 328)
Their mission is simple: to serve God and help guide and protect us on our journey to Heaven (CCC 329–336).
Among them, St. Michael the Archangel holds a special place. His very name means “Who is like God?”—a battle cry of humility and victory against Satan’s pride. Scripture shows him as the leader of God’s heavenly army:
Revelation 12:7–9
“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated…”
Daniel 10:13
“Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me…”
Jude 1:9
“But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil… said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’”
The Church invokes him as a powerful defender against the devil’s lies and temptations. Pope Leo XIII gave us the St. Michael Prayer as a weapon of faith in spiritual warfare after his vision of a demonis attack on the Church..
Remember: Angels are real. They guard us, guide us, and fight for us. And at the head of that battle is St. Michael, God’s champion, our protector.
