We are not here to fix kids.
We’re here to stop making clothing harder than it needs to be.

Less scratchy.
Less tight.
Less “just put it on.”
Less morning chaos before the day has even started.

Not magic clothing.
Just more thoughtful clothing.

“Bro, they feel disgusting.”

Zoë rejected most of these fabrics in seconds.

That’s why sensory friendly isn’t just about removing tags or flattening seams.

It’s hundreds of tiny decisions that start with listening to the kids wearing the clothes.

What’s something your child notices that everyone else seems to miss?

01/06/2026

Some kids are scared of monsters and bedtime.
Some are scared of wet socks, scratchy seams, hearing “we’re leaving NOW” and “change of plans, guys”.

If this feels a little too familiar in your house
 you’re not alone.

I may have screamed my house down over the weekend about stepping in a puddle of water in fresh socks đŸ˜€

This week included shipped samples, using family feedback, interruptions from Pancakes, a notebook rescue mission, and being taught Procreate by a 9 year old.

This is why we started with the clothes.
Not because clothing fixes everything.
Because sometimes one less daily battle matters.

What’s the hardest clothing item in your house?

A few hills I’ll stand on as a sensory parent.

Mostly learnt through sock dramas, cancelled un**es, pyjamas in public and me realising way too late that maybe she wasn’t being difficult.

Add yours. So I can wave to you while chilling on my hill.

aszo started in the tears between “just get dressed” and what was actually happening in our house.

Turns out clothing can be the thing that helps the morning move forward, or the thing that stops it completely.

Still learning. Still testing. Still laughing, because if you’re not laughing, you’re probably crying.

What’s one unexpected parenting skill you’ve picked up?

28/05/2026

It’s not just the sensory struggles.
It’s constantly being told you’re handling it wrong.

The advice.
The judgement.
The “have you tried
” from people who’ve never lived it.

Meanwhile you’re just trying to help your child feel safe in their own body.

Anyone else feel this?

26/05/2026

Some kids don’t “grow out of it.”

They get understood better.
Supported better.
Dressed in ways that actually work for their bodies.

A lot of what looks like “improvement” is often just better support, safer environments, and people finally listening.

What’s something your child was meant to ‘grow out of’?

Not all dress reviews are based on colour or style.
Some are apparently based on maximum twirl capacity.
And honestly? Fair enough.

Tell me your child’s oddly specific non negotiable.
