AFTERBLOOM
Where Flowers Rust SS26

Made in a midweight Cotton Jersey, the imagery explores the contradiction between softness and industrial decay, where beauty is no longer seen as something pristine or untouched. Chains and corrosion are contrasted with pearls and floral elements across an oversized box fit silhouette.

Available online or at Auckland 🖤

The Orbit Necklace
Where Flowers Rust SS26

I have always loved jewellery, and creating my own pieces is something I have wanted to do for a long time. It feels like a natural extension of Rhian.

The Orbit Necklace explores asymmetry and contrast through irregular chain formations, fragmented sculptural links, and cascading hanging chains. A central pink zircon stone anchors the piece, set within a supernova star charm. Crafted in sterling silver with white gold plating.

Available in extremely limited numbers.

My latest collection Where Flowers Rust is officially available at today in Auckland and online.

My work is always influenced by emotion and poetry which is deeply personal and guides my creative process.

The words of Where Flowers Rust are below

There is something sacred
in what time leaves behind,
metal blushing orange after rain,
corners worn smooth by existence,
the quiet language of things
that have endured.

Yet we mistake erosion for loss,
as though beauty belongs only
to what has never been touched
by the world.

But corrosion only reveals
after weather,
after fracture,
after the weight of living
has left its trace.

There is a story in the the gathering of rust,
the cracks of all things weathered,
And the bloom that still happens amongst this so called decay.

Perhaps beauty was never meant
to remain pristine.
Perhaps it lives instead
in the tension between bloom and breakdown,
in the quiet coexistence
of delicacy and decay.

Where Flowers Rust SS26

Crafted in digitally printed tencel linen, this print continues the collection’s exploration of softness and industrial decay through faded textures and corroded metallic forms. Cut in an A-line silhouette, the design features a boat neckline and adjustable ruched ties. It is finished with our Arched Belt in the same print, featuring D-ring fastening and hanging tabs to create a more tailored silhouette.

The Oxide Jean 🖤
Where Flowers Rust SS26
The Oxide Jean is a low waisted barrel cut silhouette. Our SS26 digitally printed denim explores the theme of bloom and breakdown, with the use of floral elements, pearls and gemstones, in contrast with corrosion, heavy chains and industrial decay.

Where Flowers Rust explores the quiet tension between fragility and decay. We are often taught that beauty arrives untouched, seen in things that are perfect, refined and untarnished. But there is something honest in the slow collapse of things, and the trail we leave behind through corrosion, worn surfaces, cracked edges and industrialism.

Through this contrast, this collection reflects on the idea that bloom and breakdown can coexist, and that deterioration does not diminish beauty, but instead transforms it into something more honest and human.

This concept is explored through our print design and silhouettes, combining soft palettes, floral and pearl elements, with metal corrosion, chains, rust and worn surfaces.

Where Flowers Rust will officially launch at in Auckland on Monday, alongside the online release.
