This is our resident party animal, Pixie. We took her on a while back from family that headed away. She's fitted right in and very much living her best life. She's a bit of a dork, but we love her all the same.

A new year! It seems to turn around pretty fast these days, right?
I haven't done as much crafting and making in the last year. I do hope to get back in to it though.

A cold southerly flow is bringing those wintry conditions northwards to parts of the North Island as well.

Road snowfall warnings have been updated to include the Remutaka Hill Road and Napier-Taupo Road.
