Big shout out to Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand for kitting us out, keeping our carriers and accessories safe and easily transportable around our community. We are so excited to add the LennyLamb toddler and preschool onbuhimos to our carrier library! We've had a few requests for some bigger kid carries, especially for you Māmās expecting #2 or #3. Nurturing your bigger little while carrying bubs to come 💙

Thanks for being a part of Babywearing Queenstown's first year! It started with a shimmer of an idea, encouraged by my own koala baby of course, and has grown so much more than I could have imagined. I SO appreciate your support.

Because it has grown so much and the demand is high, I've had to re-think how to keep BWQT sustainable for the mums with young families behind the scenes making the wheels turn. This means a bit of a revamp to our support sessions offered and going forward will look like this:

Tuesday koha support sessions at Frankton Library (3rd Tuesday of each month) - rather than a drop in space, there will now be 5 x 15 minute session slots to be pre-booked. This means there will be time for 1 (mmaaaybbe 2) carriers to try or get support with (from the carrier library or of your own). Please do not book more than one koha session per month to allow access to others to the support.

Otherwise, if more support is required, you're welcome to come back to the next Tuesday session OR book a 1:1 or 1:2 parent private session. This means 1 hour of private support which will usually be enough time for up to 4 carriers total (or less if fitting to both parent's bodies). These will be available online and around our local district at tiered pricing for various incomes and resource levels to hopefully keep it accessible while supporting our mahi.
