Cyclone veered more south east and we did have wind and rain and a power cut… the last of the tomatoes still on the vine. The gusts have turned westerly interspersed with still calm. As we become more tropical with the warmer seas cyclones will become more frequent.

The hardest thing is to imagine from a state of dry stillness that we are in today, that soon we will be in a raging windy pelting wetness. The worst of it up North forecast during Saturday night. Hope the roof holds and the trees stay rooted in the ground. Lunch and then a check round the garden.
