Yesterday I completed a online Zoom training course held by the lovely Louise McDonald, Melbourne. Just proving there is Maths in everything we had to do a number of calculations in order to come up with the number of ribbon strands and the lengths by using radius. Great technique, my ribbon was very old and slightly discolored, I didn't want to use $8 p/m petersham for a training session. # # # #

Ladies do remember you can get a sketch and costings of a hat completed by myself, giving you an idea of what your outfit and hat will look like together. This also takes into account your face shape, your hair color tones, and physiques - height, width of shoulder. Please support New Zealand made and a craft which needs support Millinery.

I have made this vintage pattern in a navy velvet, with a wool blend tartan. There are matching hats in a navy and merlot/wine colour and a tartan headband. Unfortunately my little Eleanor is out growing........ it has a lined bodice, it could be taken in at the back with darts if need be. I would be happy to take $90 for the dress.
