ONE JUMPER. THREE STORIES. 💥

I’ve been exploring three completely different ways to style this teal Gitta Designs crop jumper—from casual and colourful, to evening drama, to creative workwear.

Although each outfit tells a different story, the same "Gitta Style Principles" run through them:

✨ Beautiful, but never boring
✨ Colour used confidently
✨ Unexpected proportions
✨ Feminine pieces disrupted by something tougher or stranger
✨ Polished mixed with casual
✨ And always… Find the Weird

The silver high-tops.
The sheer black skirt and red circular bag.
The leopard heels and watch worn over the shirt cuff.

It’s often that one unexpected detail that transforms an outfit from simply “nice” into something that feels completely personal.

VERY nearly off the needles… 💖✨

Just one sleeve to go!

Knitted using 3 strands at a time—a luxurious blend of silk merino, cashmere merino, mohair, pure wool and merino. One bright pink strand runs through the entire piece, tying all the changing colours together. 💥

Lace detailing through the lower body and sleeves adds beautiful texture and movement. I'm loving it! 😍

The cute little floral coat hanger belonged to my husband’s grandmother, who was a crocheter herself. I know she would approve of it helping to showcase my knitting today 🫶

Then it’s blocking, finishing… and ready for purchase!

JUST OFF THE NEEDLES… 🤎✨

Layers of chocolate brown and caramel come together in this gloriously textured cardigan.

I’ve combined different shades throughout, playing with contrasting stitches, delicate lace details and softly fluffy sections to create a patchwork of colour and texture—making every part of the cardigan a little different from the next.

Technically, it still has rather a lot of loose ends dangling from it… but it was far too lovely not to share immediately 🙃

Next comes weaving in those ends, finishing and blocking—then I’ll be able to show you the final result properly.

The Grey & White Old Shale Lace Jumper—handknitted in a beautifully textured lace pattern that gives it softness, movement and an effortless drape.

Cat Trapped. Again.
*Le sigh* 🤷🏻‍♀️

Shenobviously appreciates this garment's beautiful softness, as am I 💗 Knitted with combined strands of cashmere, silk, baby merino, mohair. You get the drift. It's GORGEOUS 😍

Once the cat gets off I'll eventually get more product pics up, but until then, I'm stuck. And I don't mind 😻
