Smart Workwear & Safety Lihir & Maron Limited is seeking a LOGISTICS LEAD to take full ownership of procurement and inventory operations across our group.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring all stock and purchasing functions run efficiently, accurately, and on time.

🔧 About the Role
You will oversee ordering and stock control across:

📌PPE & Safety Equipment (primary focus)
📌Office supplies and consumables
📌Maron property supplies

You will be fully responsible for ensuring all purchasing is timely, cost-effective, and accurate, while leading and coordinating a small logistics team.

📋 Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end procurement across all categories
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure smooth stock flow
- Supervise and coordinate logistics support staff
- Manage supplier relationships (local & international)
- Track orders, deliveries, and inventory through internal systems
- Prepare regular stock and procurement reports
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Take accountability for stock accuracy and purchasing performance
- Recommend and trial new product lines for customers

✅Highly organised candidate with strong attention to detail

📣✨ Empowering the Next Generation of Lihir 🇵🇬✨

Last weekend, we held a Student Development Session for Lihirian students currently studying in Brisbane across both secondary and tertiary institutions.

This session was proudly sponsored by the Mark Soipang Foundation, with the purpose of guiding our young people to start thinking seriously about life after school; understanding pathways, building discipline, strengthening their mindset, and keeping faith at the centre of their journey.

We spoke about real-life experiences, university pathways, ATAR, and most importantly, how each student can define their purpose and contribute back to the Lihir Destiny.

The Mark Soipang Foundation is supported by the profits generated from our family businesses. Through this, we are able to give back and support initiatives that enrich lives across Lihir, our wider New Ireland community and Papua New Guinea.

We were honoured to be nominated by Newmont Mining Corporation, and we sincerely thank them for being our biggest supporter to date. It is encouraging to see major corporations actively supporting local businesses and their growth, this paints a promising future for Papua New Guinea. ✨
