We love seeing changemakers leading within their own communities. Across the country, we’re privileged to walk alongside First Nations’ communities who are driving community-led change grounded in culture, connection to Country and collective wisdom.
For 26 years, we've witnessed the impact of community-led projects guided by cultural knowledge, deep passion and mob showing up for each other, for culture and for Country. This is where long-lasting impact thrives.
This month, leading into International Women’s Day on 8 March, we’re highlighting the incredible women whose leadership is woven through every community.
Our friends at Advancing PNG: Women Leaders Network (APNGWLN) are a powerful example of women leading grassroots transformation in Papua New Guinea. Through their work, APNGWLN brings women together from across the nation to uplift one another, strengthen livelihoods and create opportunities for future generations. Their commitment to collaboration and community development truly embodies their motto: ‘your dream is my dream’.

Last year, we were honoured to be invited to PNG to celebrate 50 years of independence with them and share a space to yarn, exchange ideas and support them to map out pathways for the next chapter of their incredible organisation.
