SAD NEWS: Eight Shih Tzus died in a fire in Nueva Vizcaya, and the mother dog also died after going back for her puppies.
Indeed, a mother’s love for her children is universal, even among animals. 😭
On Thursday, August 14, in Barangay San Geronimo, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, a fire claimed the lives of eight shih-tzus - including a brave mother dog who ran back inside to save her puppies.
According to witnesses, the mother dog had already been rescued by her owner but returned to the burning house for her seven pups.
None of them made it out alive.
The fire reportedly started in a ground-floor room, first noticed by a child who smelled smoke. Attempts to put it out failed, and the flames spread quickly.
The Bureau of Fire Protection reminds everyone: in emergencies, don't just watch or film - step in and help. In this tragedy, many stood by recording, but no one acted before firefighters arrived.
A mother's love knows no fear, no limits, and no hesitation — only the instinct to protect, even if it means giving her last breath.
