[URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT] CHANGES AHEAD FOR CTUS 2026
As we prepare to hit the technical ridges and lush peaks of our beautiful island, we have some important updates regarding the Cebu Trail Ultra Series (CTUS) 2026 season.
Due to unforeseen logistical shifts, the Danasan Trail Ultra (DTU) will not be pushing through this year. While we know many of you were looking forward to the Danao trails, this change allows us to focus entirely on making the remaining legs of the series more competitive, and more rewarding than ever.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE GRANDSLAM QUEST
The road to the Grandslam has changed, but the prestige remains the same. Since the series is now composed of three races, here is the updated road to glory:
THE SILVER MEDALLION: For 2026, all finishers who successfully complete the three remaining legs of the series will earn the coveted Silver Series Medallions. These are a testament to your consistency and grit across Cebu’s toughest terrains. This in effect, retains the exclusivity and prestige of the Gold Medallions earned by 4-race finishers last year.
THE EXCLUSIVE GRANDSLAM HOODIE: We are turning up the heat! To celebrate the resilience of our 2026 Grandslam finishers, those who complete all three races will receive an Exclusive CTUS Grandslam Hoodie. This is a limited-edition piece of gear—earned, never bought—designed specifically for those who didn't let a calendar change slow them down.
WHY 2026 WILL BE EPIC
The cancellation of one leg doesn't mean less trail; it means more intensity. With a tighter series, every point and every second counts more than ever.
