This year, we take the biggest step yet!๐ณ๏ธโ๐ For the very first time, Cebu City will be joined by Cebu Province, Mandaue City, and local government units from across the island in one united march for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with the theme: ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐๐ข, ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐๐๐ก ๐ฆ๐ ๐ง๐๐ก๐๐ก!
๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ.
More than a parade, this is a powerful symbol of how far we have come. From fighting to be seen, to being welcomed into halls of government. From small gatherings of advocates, to thousands of Cebuanos standing together under one rainbow flag. From conversations about inclusion, to concrete commitments that help build a more inclusive Cebu for ALL.
On June 27, we march not only to celebrate who we are, but to celebrate what we are becoming: a province where every person can live with dignity, safety, respect, and pride.
This is what progress looks like. This is what unity looks like. This is what hope looks like. And we're just getting started and we owe this to our ever supportive leaders, you, our partner community organizations, institutions, and advocates!
Led by two united leaders People's Governor, Gov Pam Baricuatro of Cebu Province and Cebu City's Mayor Nestor Archival, and organized by Cebu Pride Movement, Cebu City Anti-Discrimination Commission, and Cebu City Sogiesc Pride Empowerment Council - SPEC, supported by our friends from JCI Cebu Lakan Bahaghari, ONE PRIDE Mandaue, and Pride PH.
