At thirty-four, my love, you shine,

It was a Christmas like no other—one that we never could have imagined, but will forever cherish. This year, we traded land for sand, and the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree for the sparkling waves of the ocean.

Our family reunion took place at Aman Sinaya, a private resort in Dahican, Mati.

Christmas Eve arrived, and instead of the usual holiday celebrations at home, something extraordinary happened: we were all standing together (motivated by the bravery of Kai and Celine), boards in hand, ready to learn how to surf. Perstaymers! Our family, ranging from little ones to their moms and pops, were all out there, encouraged by each other’s enthusiasm and supported by the gentle surf instructor (shoutout to you, Long!) who guided us through each fall and rise.

Though our stay was quite short, the bond between us was stronger than ever. We did a bit of karaoke showdown, played charades, laughed until our stomachs ached(thanks to daddy’s acting!) and reveled in the simple joy of being together—just as we were, with no expectations other than to be present.

The cherry on top of this once-in-a-lifetime experience was realizing how complete we were as a family, in every sense of the word. It was a Christmas unlike any other, and one that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of family!

Dear Jesus,

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the precious gift of family. You have blessed me with loved ones who fill my life with joy, support, and love. I am forever grateful for the bond we share and the strength we find in each other, all because of You.

Most of all, I thank You for revealing to me the true meaning of Christmas. Through Your birth, I have come to understand the depth of Your love, the gift of grace, and the power of selflessness. This season now holds a much deeper significance in my heart, and I am in awe of the hope and peace You bring into our lives.

May I continue to honor You by loving those around me as You have loved me. I give you back all the honor, praises, and thanksgiving! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

It is you that’s on my mind. I think about you all the time. It’s such a blessing that we’re together on the grind. I am so proud to call you my wife. My bestfriend, my prayer partner.
