Book Review: The Off-Limits Rule by Sarah Adams 🤍

⭐ Honest Review
This story gave me all the cozy, feel-good vibes. Lucy runs away from her family.. not in a dramatic, doors-slamming kind of way but in a “I will prove I’m a capable adult, thank you very much” kind of mission (which, as a mom, made me smile a little knowingly 😄).

Then there’s Cooper… who also “escaped,” but for a completely different reason—a broken heart. And honestly, isn’t that just like life? One is running toward independence, the other is running away from pain… and somehow they end up running straight into each other.

Their dynamic is sweet, a little awkward in the best way, and full of moments that make you grin like you’re in on their inside jokes.

🧼 Cleanliness Rating: 8.5/10
Very mild and wholesome. The focus is on connection, healing, and genuine affection, no worries here if you prefer your romance clean and heart-centered.

🕊️ Faith & Uplifting Themes
While it’s not heavily faith-based, the story quietly reflects beautiful truths about healing, patience, and how sometimes God uses unexpected situations (and people) to lead us exactly where we need to be.

💭 Takeaway
I loved how this story shows that the wrong relationships can leave you hurting and a little lost… but the right one? It brings peace, joy, and something truly beautiful.

Also, sometimes you think you’re “escaping” your life, only to realize you’re actually being led to something better. And maybe… someone better too. 🤍

Such a sweet, easy read. Perfect for a relaxing weekend when you just want to smile and believe in love again.

Book Review: The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley by Courtney Walsh 🤍

Okay, this one? Definitely one of my favorites so far 🥹 The kind of story that sneaks into your heart and just stays there.

⭐ Honest Review
We follow Isadora, a woman who loves structure, logic, and having everything neatly in place (honestly… relatable 😅). But when life starts messing with her perfectly planned world, she’s nudged into a journey of rediscovery, learning to loosen up, embrace people, and find real joy in the unexpected.

As a mom, I felt this on so many levels. That desire to keep everything under control? Whew. I get it. The romance is soft and sweet (no drama overload here 💕), but what really shines is Isadora’s growth. It’s gentle, genuine, and so beautifully written.

🧼 Cleanliness Rating: 10/10
Zero spice. All heart. Just a wholesome, feel-good read you can enjoy without worrying about anything unnecessary 🤍

🕊️ Faith-Filled Themes
I loved how naturally faith is woven into the story. It quietly reminds you about surrender, grace, and trusting God—even when things don’t go the way you planned. Not heavy, not preachy… just real and encouraging.

💭 My Takeaway
This book left me with something simple but powerful: HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE.

Not because life is perfect—but because we can choose forgiveness, choose grace, and choose joy… right in the middle of the mess.

Such a comforting, uplifting read. Already recommending this to everyone I know 🤍📖

Just finished The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams and it was such a sweet, easy read 💚

⭐ Friends-to-lovers done in the softest, most comforting way
🧼 Cleanliness: 9/10 — wholesome, no spice
🕊️ Quietly highlights patience, respect, and doing things the right way

What I loved most? It’s a gentle reminder that waiting for the right timing really is worth it. It may not always be easy, but when it finally comes together… it just feels right. I also appreciated how they chose to wait until marriage. Rare to see, but so refreshing.

Light, heartwarming, and definitely put a smile on my face 🤍

The Enemy by Sarah Adams

If you love a good enemies-to-lovers story with witty banter, sweet tension, and characters that feel so real, this one is such a fun read. Sarah Adams has a way of writing romance that feels light, engaging, and easy to fall into—perfect for those quiet moments when the kids are busy and you finally get to sit down with your coffee ☕📚

Now let’s talk heart. While this isn’t a heavily faith-driven story, I still appreciated the themes of forgiveness, humility, and learning to see people beyond first impressions. It’s a gentle reminder that sometimes, the walls we build around our hearts need a little softening.

🧼 Cleanliness Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
This one is pretty clean compared to many modern romances, but just a heads up—there are a few moments that lean a bit more flirty than what I usually prefer. Still, overall, it’s a safe and enjoyable read if you’re mindful about content.

🕊️ Faith & Uplifting Themes:
Not overtly Christian, but you’ll find threads of grace, growth, and emotional healing woven into the story—which I always appreciate as a reader who values heart-centered storytelling.

💭 Final Thoughts:
This book made me smile, laugh, and quietly reflect on how often we misunderstand others (and even ourselves). It’s sweet, entertaining, and perfect if you’re looking for something light but still meaningful.

If you enjoy clean-ish romance with a lot of charm, The Enemy is worth adding to your weekend reading list 💕

The Match by Sarah Adams 💛

⭐ Honest Review: I loved how both characters felt real and flawed—Evie with her medical condition, and the male lead carrying deep emotional baggage. Their story was tender and a sweet reminder that God works through our weaknesses and brings healing in His perfect time.

🧼 Cleanliness Rating: 9/10 — very wholesome, just a few sweet kisses!

🕊️ Faith Themes: Subtle but meaningful—trust, healing, and hope in God’s plan.

💐 A cozy, uplifting read for lovers of clean romance!

Book Review : Fame by Karen Kingsbury

10/10 (Completely Clean!) no explicit scenes, no awkward moments, just wholesome storytelling you can feel good about reading.

This book gently reminds me that,
True identity isn’t found in success or recognition—it’s rooted in knowing who you are in God, even when no one is watching. It’s about trusting His direction over your own plans and finding a deep, steady peace in wherever He leads you. Whether you’re in a season of waiting, growth, or uncertainty, your worth doesn’t change. It’s not defined by titles, applause, or achievements, but by the quiet assurance that you are exactly where God wants you to be—and that is more than enough. 💛

📖 Weekend Read Review: Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury

You know those rare, peaceful weekend moments, when the kids are busy, there’s no work waiting, and you finally get to enjoy a few uninterrupted pages? That was me with this book… and I didn’t want to put it down 🥹📖

⭐ Honest Review
This story follows Aaron, an NFL player whose life gets turned upside down when he’s required to care for a little boy. What starts off as inconvenient slowly becomes something so meaningful. Watching his heart change? So beautiful and emotional in the best way.

The romance is soft and sweet—not the main focus—which I personally loved. It’s more about growth, healing, and discovering purpose. A bit predictable at times, yes… but still deeply touching and worth it 💛

🧼 Cleanliness Rating: 10/10
✔️ No spice (safe and wholesome 🙌)
✔️ Gentle, respectful romance
✔️ Perfect if you’re looking for clean reads only

🕊️ Faith & Feel-Good Themes
This book is filled with reminders of God’s grace, second chances, and stepping into His purpose—even when it’s unexpected. It really stayed with me after I finished reading ✨

💭 Mom Thoughts
If you’re looking for a comforting, uplifting read that speaks to the heart, this is a perfect weekend pick. The kind of story that makes you pause, reflect, and maybe hug your kids a little tighter after 🥹

Thank you for being here on my very first post, it truly means so much 💕
