Seven days to go before the world premiere of Lav Diaz's "Essential Truths of the Lake" at the Locarno Film Festival!

This is actress Shaina Magdayao's fifth collaboration with Lav Diaz, the previous four films being "Ang Panahon Ng Halimaw", "Henrico's Farm (unreleased), "Ang Hupa" and "Isang Salaysay ng Karahasang Pilipino". For "Essential Truths of the Lake", Magdayao plays the role of the troubled model 'Esmeralda Stuart'.
