My personal finance story….

Unsolicited advice from an old colleague: Why am i doing “baligya-baligya” daw, napuno na daw akong wall og baligya…Nga naa mn daw mi pension once we retire after 20 years of military service, why worry about the future daw?wala pa daw to neabot, the present is the important because “its the now”… Dont be too paranoid about what wil happen in the future,…

Me: Yes po, BSBA major in Financial Mngt kasi natapos ko sir, way of de-stressing ko po yung pagnenegosyo ng kung anong matripan ko… May goal akong masave or mabili every year sir eh,,,..mka invest 1 property every year..

Inner Me:🤨🙄 hala helabtanon sya, iya iya mn tag diskarte b, d manghelabot b (after 8 hrs akong giunfriend sa fb, padayun gehapon sa pamaligyag bsag unsah 😅✌️🤣😂)

Fast forward after 48 long years….‼️‼️

Old colleague: boc baka may extra money ka jan pautang naman, pambayad ko lang ng ticket na reassign na kasi ako sa mindanao…Ang mahal ng ticket boc…

Me: pasensya na po sir pero pass muna sir, kakabayad ko lng po dun sa nabili kong lupa samin sir…sorry po…

Inner me: Why worry about the future, d pa dumarating yun, dont be too paranoid about the future, its not important, d pa dumarating yun, d ka mangangailangan ng pera in the future…😅✌️

Invest and save while you can,
We dont know what will happen in the future…
Plan for the future…
Ang ating edad ay nadadagdagan every year,
hindi tayo bumabata,
Save for emergency fund,
Dili raba tanang tawo maduolan kung ikaw sad ang manginahanglan…😉😉
