To anyone who has handled or is handling a child with autism — please give us more patience and kindness. You don’t know how hard our everyday life can be.

While the clinic staff was trying to get Kiel’s weight, he was being playful and couldn’t stay still. I gently said, “Sorry po, autistic po siya.”
But instead of understanding, the staff walked away and said with irritation,
“Ikaw na lang mag-kilo niyan, sobrang hirap kunan ng timbang niyan.” 😔

It hurt.
Not because of what was said — but because of the tone, the lack of compassion, the absence of effort to understand.

Please, choose empathy. 💙
