The Municipality of Baler reminds the public of the strict enforcement of Ordinance No. 027-2014, also known as the Anti Muffler Modification Ordinance. This ordinance prohibits the use or operation of motor vehicles with noisy or modified mufflers within the Municipality of Baler.

PENALTIES:
First offense: Php 1,000
Second offense: Php 1,500
Third offense: Php 2,500

Additional details:
• Vehicles in violation will be impounded and released only after payment of the corresponding fine and removal of the noise increasing gadget.
• Violators are given a maximum period of three days to restore, repair, and replace the modified muffler with the original muffler.
• For tricycles, MTOP will be cancelled until the original muffler is restored.
