It’s very important to fully love yourself and not depend on other people for your happiness. As humans, it’s beautiful to have friends, loved ones, or someone to share life with. But the truth is, we don’t have control over other people. Even if you are good to them and treat them with kindness, there may come a time when they choose a different path.
Your kindness does not guarantee that people will stay in your life forever—and that’s part of being human.
So learn to fully love yourself. Be your own safe place. At the end of the day, the one person who will always stay with you is you.
And if someone chooses to stay in your life, love you, and walk beside you through life—consider it a beautiful bonus. 💙
