Likhanova is born from two words: Likha, the Filipino word for creation or craftsmanship, and Nova, symbolizing a new star and new beginnings. Together, they represent a brand that honors the Philippines rich cultural heritage while bringing Filipino craftsmanship to the modern world.

Likhanova is more than a fashion label—it’s a celebration of the hands, stories, and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Our collections bring together materials from different regions of the Philippines:

* Inabel from Ilocos – handwoven cotton fabric crafted by skilled Ilocano weavers, known for its durability and timeless geometric patterns.

* Abaca from Bicol, Eastern Visayas, and Davao – one of the world’s strongest natural fibers, valued for its beauty and resilience.

* Sabutan from Samar – finely woven pandan leaves.

* Buri from Quezon, Bicol, Bulacan, and other weaving communities – natural palm fibers crafted into sophisticated woven pieces.
