a slow afternoon at the park with mylee 🌷

a picnic mat,
fresh fruits, little snacks, and something cold to drink.
time stretching a little longer under the sun,
with nowhere else to be.

a bike ride with flowers in the basket,
soft winds and quiet paths.
the kind of day that feels simple and full at the same time.

carrying the little things for days like this 🤍

Motivation Monday

your normal day
is someone else’s dream.

so show up anyway—
even when you’re tired,
even when you’re scared,
even when you feel unmotivated,
even when it’s hard,
even when you’re alone.

keep going 🤍

how can I be ungrateful,
when this life was once something I prayed for..

now I’m living inside one of my answered prayers 🤍

grateful for every little thing.

“the Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.”
— Psalm 126:3

happy Palm Sunday 🌿

slow days at home with mylee 🤍

resting in quiet corners,
moving from one space to another.

by the entryway,
ready to go when the day calls.

by the window,
catching light and a little stillness

hanging by the sewing room,
where ideas begin.

in the bedroom,
soft mornings and slow afternoons.

the sunpatch tote,
part of the everyday moments at home.

🧵 Episode 4: Your First Sewing Project

Now that you have your sewing machine, tools, and fabrics ready…

it’s time to start your very first project ✂️

It can feel a little intimidating at first,
but you don’t have to begin with something complicated.

Start simple.
Start small.

A tote bag, a pouch, or even a pillow cover—
these small projects will help you learn and build confidence.
When I was starting, I practiced on old clothes and thrifted pieces, sewing the same simple things again and again until I got comfortable.

Your first projects are not meant to be perfect.
They’re just the beginning of your sewing journey 🤍

Save this for when you’re ready to start.

a slow day by the sea with mylee 🤍

walking along the shore,
letting the waves come and go.

picking up little shells,
keeping pieces of the day.

finding shade under a tree,
a good book, and nowhere else to be.

slow steps back to the water,
taking a moment before the swim.

just sitting, listening,
letting the ocean quiet everything.

and for a while,
leaving everything behind on the shore.

the sunpatch tote,
carrying the little things through soft summer days 🌿

part 6: final reveal

from scraps… to something whole ☀️🌼

introducing the Sunpatch Round Tote

made from carefully saved fabric remnants, each piece chosen, arranged, and stitched together slowly over time. no two will ever be the same—each bag carries its own little story.

this one took hours of cutting, matching, sewing, and quilting… and somewhere along the process, it became more than just a bag.

it became a reminder that even the smallest pieces can come together into something beautiful.

☀️ one-of-a-kind

part 5: putting it all together 🧵

this is it—assembling every piece, sewing everything into place, watching it finally become a bag.

the kind of moment you think you’re almost done…

until you realize something’s not right.

I had to unpick the straps and redo them all over again. not gonna lie, it was frustrating. but I just kept going—slowly, patiently, one stitch at a time.

because sometimes that’s what making requires… not perfection, just the willingness to try again.

and in the end, it all came together 🤍

follow for part 5: final reveal ✨

part 4: the final details ☀️

this part takes the most time… and the most patience.

quilting each layer, shaping the bag, slowly watching it turn into something you can finally hold.

it’s always a bit surreal at this stage—how something that started as small, forgotten pieces can become something structured, soft, and full of life.

every stitch here holds everything together… literally and emotionally.

almost there.
