Galations 1:10 prompts us to ask ourselves who we are trying to please. God or man? If you choose people, you are not a servant of God. Do not make people your idol! Many times rejection is the root cause of people pleasing. If you are seeking acceptance, praise, love, or encouragement, it is easy to fall into the people pleasing habit. You think, "if I just make them happy, they will accept me", "if I just become who they want, they will love me." No! God accepts you! God loves you! JUST THE WAY HE MADE YOU. Beautiful and wonderful. Ask God to heal you of rejection right now in Jesus Name. Ask Him to forgive you for trying to please people, not Him. Ask HIm how you can please Him today in your words, actions and thoughts. He will overwhelm you with His love today, friends, and help you in those moments where people fail you.
