The 10th of Muharram, known as Ashura, is one of the most significant days in the Islamic calendar.

The Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί encouraged fasting on this blessed day and said:

πŸ“– β€œFasting on the day of Ashura, I hope from Allah, expiates the sins of the previous year.” (Sahih Muslim)

🀲 Fasting on Ashura is a means of seeking Allah’s forgiveness and earning immense rewards.

🌿 It is also recommended to fast the 9th and 10th of Muharram (or the 10th and 11th) to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Let us take advantage of this blessed opportunity by:

✨ Making Dua
✨ Reciting the Quran
✨ Giving Charity
✨ Increasing our remembrance of Allah
