« moses splits the sea » is a sweeping cape-jacket cut from a rescued carpet alive with ornate cherubs and rococo flourishes. its structure is stately yet dramatic — a raised collar cinched with braided ties frames the face, while the body opens outward with a sense of quiet theatre. the fabric’s dense weave and painterly motifs recall a lost tapestry, its narrative spilling across the garment in warm golds, deep crimsons, and mossy greens.
