It’s been a while since this piece found it’s way to my feed…

Some paintings don’t arrive fully formed—they evolve. Layer by layer, they shift and stretch, revealing new emotions, hiding old ones. What starts as one idea often dissolves into something else entirely. These are the pieces that resist certainty, that demand time. They change colors, shapes, stories—until suddenly, they don’t. Until everything falls into place, and the painting exhales, complete. There’s beauty in that becoming. In not rushing the truth of the work, but letting it slowly unfold.
