The 2026 annual report is now available, along with updated versions of all previous research. From the beginning, this has been built by hand. Every session documented. Every note reviewed. Every transcript revisited and expanded with better tools.

What exists today is the current record of Saudi’s creative sector is a ground-level account built directly from the people working within it. It captures how roles are evolving, how the market is forming, and what it feels like to be in it.

A reference point for companies, advisors, and researchers who want to understand this sector from the inside.

This is part of Saudi Arabia’s properly documented creative history.

We were contacted a while ago by after they came across the Kingdom Creatives website. They wanted to include it in their index, which documents a global digital cultural scene of independent talents and creative brands with strong web identities. Of course, I said yes.

Today, they reached out again to let us know that KC has been selected to be featured on their homepage.

The entire Kingdom Creatives brand and website were created by award-winning designer Tony Naqvi, an old friend and community member. You can read more about how and why the brand was built in our bio.

We are genuinely proud of this story. Coming from a design background, we have always believed that a thoughtful brand, website, and visual presence are essential. Tony taught us a great deal about consistency and maintaining a clear visual language over time. Through his design and our voice, we built something that feels true to who we are, and it is meaningful to see that work being recognized on a global level.

Not following the crowd has always been central to Kingdom Creatives. We pay attention to what is forming before it becomes obvious, and we spend our time where others are not yet looking. That means building our own language, defining our roles with care, and focusing on signals, structures, and ideas that reflect who we are and where we are going, not what is popular in the moment.

Over the years, Kingdom Creatives has evolved significantly, and as we move toward 2026, we are becoming more intentional about how we describe what we do and why it matters. For those who are new here, this is a reintroduction to how we think, operate, and what we are architecting next. πŸƒ

Futures studies look at what is taking shape right now to better understand where cultural systems may be heading. Rather than trying to predict outcomes or chase trends, it pays attention to weak signals, which are small, early signs of change that appear as policies, institutions, and support structures are formed. In cultural policy, these signals manifest in how authority is organized, identity defined, resources distributed, and creative work encouraged or guided.

Paying attention to these early signs is important because once systems settle into place, they become much harder to shift. Futures work will help us notice the direction early, ask better questions, and engage more thoughtfully with how culture is being built.

Architecture and Design are changing in ways that are not always easy to see in daily practice. Early signs often appear long before they reach studios, codes, or public discussions. This is why Future Studies are important. It provides us with a way to notice the small shifts that indicate the future direction of the field and helps us understand the conditions that will shape what lies ahead.

Weak signals do not indicate what will happen. They show us what is to come. When we read them early, we can prepare, adjust, and make choices that guide the direction of our industry. Instead of reacting after a change arrives, we have a chance to influence the future. This is the value of paying attention.

It made me so happy to see Riyadh green tonight and see how patriotic Saudi Arabia has become. Watching the shift every year in Saudi Arabia and seeing all the new things that take place has always been so magical for me as a long-time resident. As a result, you become more appreciative of things. This country has been good to me, and most of the things I know and love are here. Among all the places I have traveled, I find the people here to be the kindest, and I am beyond proud to see the country thrive.

I would like to wish Saudi Arabia a very happy birthday. You deserve all the love you are receiving this week. πŸ’š
