A little more personal today. A big part of my why, and in all honesty where a big chunk of the earnings from my knitting patterns go (🫣), are these beautiful models of mine. Just the other day, one of my favorite ponies got the most adorable teeny tiny little baby c**t (scroll to the end photos to see little Jetset!) and it’s the first great grandchild of my first pony Amaze (she’s still with me, 27 yo this year!).
That being said, it’s been a really tough time lately. We’re in the middle of foaling season, and it hasn’t been all rosy this year with a weak little foal that needs to be helped up to get enough food and it’s really tearing on me. I have not slept more than a few hours in the last 4-5 days because I have to be up all through the night to lift him up, I have delivered another foal, organised a pony show, and that’s on top of all other things (and boring things like work!). I’m exhausted and knitting is not my first priority right now and it’s frustrating but it’s life.
So today, I just want to show you a snippet of when two parts of my life cross paths and I’m incredibly proud of both of them.
Should I incorporate my ponies more in my knitting photos in the future? 😅
