It was a tough market, just for us but for most of other vendors too. Weather was incredibly hot, which made it difficult for people to come in, stay for a while, and enjoy shopping. Though evening was better, and that was only time when people really started coming into the market.

Considering the size of this market, I still don’t see as much appreciation for handmade and organic products as I expected. When you’re living in Sweden , you naturally hope that people will value handmade work, original designs, and products created with care for nature. And many people do but markets like this can feel very different.

This made us wonder whether these kinds of markets are really the right place for us. At the same time, it’s hard to draw conclusions because of hot weather. Maybe outcome would have been completely different on a pleasant day 🤷‍♀️

Right now, it’s difficult to know for sure. I still believe both factors played a part - weather made the market challenging, and perhaps this type of market simply isn’t the best fit for our things. Time and more experience will tell 😊
