Hej!

I’m Berdien the designer and maker behind every bag you see here.
A Dutchie now living in Sweden. I started making bags because I simply couldn’t find the right one. Too many frills, too many colours, too much of everything. I wanted something more minimal, a little bolder, timeless, and made from beautiful, preferably sustainable, materials.

Back in 2021, I took the leap and trained as a professional bag maker. For 1,5 years, I immersed myself in leatherwork, learning techniques and exploring the craft in depth.

Sustainability, minimalism, and functionality are always at the heart of my work. I use deadstock leather to save it from waste, and smaller leftover pieces are turned into accessories, meaning very little is ever thrown away. Every bag is unique, as I often have just one hide in a particular colour.

Before adding a new design to my collection, I test it myself, making sure it’s as comfortable and functional as it is beautiful. I also create custom pieces, designed together with the client, to suit their needs perfectly.

In 2024, I moved to Sweden, where I now design and make every bag from my own home studio.

Leather bags with a story

The leather I use for the bags comes from stock rejected by the fashion industry, often due to small imperfections, slight color variations, or minor surface marks.

Rather than going to waste this deadstock leather is carefully selected and cut to work around any flaws.

The result: unique, long lastings bags that give discarded leather a second life.
