Spring in Tokyo, twinning in our travel sweats in Tagua White. 🤍

A little hanami moment at Yoyogi Koen with my dear friend Sorcha. We first met on the JET Programme in Iwaki, Fukushima, and have been friends for over 17 years now.

After I left Japan, Sorcha stayed on — and whenever I make my little Japan pilgrimage, we always find our way back to each other.

This was two springs ago: post-mimosa brunch in Shibuya, a little tipsy, under clear blue skies and full-bloom sakura. Beautifully nostalgic.
