🎉 Tweese turns One today! 🎉

It has been a most exciting year for us! The learning curve was (and still is!) steep, and hiccups happened along the way. We wouldn't have gotten to where we are now, if not for the unwavering support we have, from our family, friends, business partners, and most importantly our customers.

Thank you for giving us a chance, and thank you for your continued support with your repeated purchases. Thank you for recommending us to your friends, and on FB groups and chats. Thank you for sharing with us, how you and your cute tweens enjoyed the Poufy Wash, and how it has helped with their existing skin conditions.

A year on, and I have not deviated from my original intent. I created Tweese, because I could not find anything suitable for my own tween. Everything about Tweese was curated for this unique group of in-betweeners, who are too young for counter brands, but have outgrown baby/toddler cleansers 💛

A new product went out today! It's our first collaboration with thimblekraft - reusable facial pads for tweens to use together with Tweese Poufy Wash. We have gotten feedback from some parents, that their tweens are getting blackheads and white spots. We do not recommend exfoliation as tweens have rather delicate skin, and so we worked with to source for a super soft terrycloth to create this reusable facial pad 🎉 the reusable facial pads are retailing at $4.50/3 pcs (inclusive of normal postage). Why the name "Tweese"?

It kinda just fell together! I wanted to come up with a product for 'tweens', and I knew that it had to be something very simple and easy to use ('ease') because we won't want our kiddos to be sucked into complicated skincare routines at a tender age.

If you're in the same era as me (still young okay, still young!), you'll remember playing catching in primary school, and when someone was coming up to 'pasang' you, you TWEESE!!! ✌🏼 and they'll run off haha. So in the same breath, Tweese is here to provide tweens with a quick moment to recharge before they run off again.

Kids nowadays have so much on their plates... school, extra classes, sports activities etc. All that shuttling about - the dirt and pollutants in the air while walking by the road sides, the perspiration from sports classes. This grime, if not taken care of, will clog the skin through to puberty. When sebum and hormones come into the picture, that's when kiddos could get troubled skin. As the old adage goes, prevention is better than cure!

It's Fridayyy! For many of us, today is the last day of PSLE-marking 'holiday' before the actual holidays come by. Some of our P4 kiddos will also have to sit for some form of assessment in the next week, in lieu of the cancelled exams. Dabao isn't too chuffed about it but she understands that it's needed to determine her P5 classes next year. Parents of P5 kids having exams: jiayou too! It's been quite a heck of a year, but we're nearing the end. Let's get our act together (somehow) a day at a time 😂

I love this photo we have! My partner took this shot of a pouf of Poufy Wash, on grapefruit and orange slices (Poufy's scent). Just looking at it relaxes me (but also makes me miss high tea buffets).

While Tweese Poufy Wash was formulated with tweens in mind, we have older kids (16 - 18yo) and even adults using it everyday. In the last two years, our skin has been rather battered from the daily mask-wearing, and 'maskne' has become quite an issue for some of us, even the kids! Candy (featured here) used Tweese Poufy Wash for a month, and we're happy to hear that her skin has cleared up quite well!

Tweese Poufy Wash is a gentle foaming cleanser specially formulated for tweens (kiddos between the ages of 9 to 14), and it's a cleanser for everyday use. It's a citrusy blend of grapefruit and orange, and has no Parabens, Sulfates, Parfum, Mineral Oils, and Colourants.

The idea for Tweese came about when I was hunting high and low for a suitable brand/range of products for my own tween. The products that we've been using since she was a toddler weren't working as well for her anymore. Yet, she isn't "old" enough for the generic brands out there.

Since I couldn't find anything in the Singapore market that's specially designed for tweens, I decided to come up with my own. Started researching, took a skincare formulation course, worked with manufacturers on R&D... two years on, we're here!
