LVMH, the world's leading luxury brand, has announced a major reshuffle of its leadership.

Elevating Delphine Arnault, daughter of billionaire LVMH boss Bernard Arnault, to the position of CEO of Christian Dior, and Pietro Beccari, the current CEO of Christian Dior, to the position of CEO of Louis Vuitton. This strategic change is designed to accelerate the growth of the world's leading luxury brand, while consolidating the presence of the Arnault family in the management. This reshuffle raises questions about the balance between nepotism and meritocracy within the company.

Beckham Brand Holdings, a company that includes Victoria and David Beckham's branding and fashion businesses, had net profits of £19.1mn on revenues of £34.3mn in 2021. This is an improvement from the previous year's profits of £11.6mn on of £11.4mn. The group paid out £6.3mn in dividends to the Beckhams, as well as an additional £1.8mn recently. The holding company manages and licenses the David Beckham brand, and also has a stake in Victoria Beckham's fashion and beauty business and the Major League Soccer team Inter Miami.

However, one of the Beckhams' 14-year-old companies has been struggling financially for the past nine years and has received going concern warnings from its auditors. The affluent owners, including the Beckhams and Neo Investment Partners, are reportedly willing to provide further cash injections to support the company. Victoria Beckham Beauty has experienced strong beauty sales and is focusing on expanding in this area. The company has also appointed Katia Beauchamp as CEO for the beauty division and folded its VVB diffusion line into the main collection.
