As people are becoming more aware of climate change and the small behaviours they can do that make an impact - like using reusable straws, cutlery and boxes for dabaoing, more people in Singapore are also more open to purchasing second-hand or preloved items. So why not the dance community too?

Since announcing our project on Instagram in July, we've collected >180+ items that were no longer in use, unwanted and just taking up valuable space in homes! Some of these items are in good condition and we'll help rehome it to someone who needs it (and save some money!). Other items we collected need some TLC (tender loving care) through our upcycling projects - to be mended or repurposed.

Be a part of our efforts to encourage a more sustainable arts & enrichment community by passing onto us items that you've outgrown or buying preloved items!

We are humbled by the overwhelming response of donations thus far. We started this project to spur the sustainability mindset into extra curricular activities, starting with ballet!

For those of us yet to declutter, heres some tips on how to be sustainable while packing your donations!

We strongly encourage you to reuse packaging from your online shopping packages of different sizes (we all know we have too many esp when we are WFH!😅🙊) for donations whether it is to us for your unwanted dancewear or other dedicated donation centres. A small action can go a long way. Lets all do our part to live more sustainably!
