Thank you for the thorough communication on WA provided by Monica and patient walkthrough by staff in store! š»Plus speedy next day delivery! š (haha, Juki uses a tortoise symbol for slow and rabbit symbol for fast sewing)
Also got a gift of 10 spools of lovely Madeira threads with this purchase.

Was originally going to get the TL2200QVP, which is a semi industrial straight stitch only machine, to accompany my current machine. However, am really lacking in space so if I can get The One that could possibly stop me from getting tempted by other machines for the next decade, it would be the best. And funnily, although I had a wonderful experience sewing on the TL2010Q a few years back in a workshop, I found myself strangely put off by the clunkiness of the TL2200MVP. š¢ Have been spoilt by my auto computerised Janome S5 I guess...
I found the HZL-NX7 powerhouse combines the best of both semi industrial and the usual home sewing machine while browsing .sg ās webshop and also from Jukiās latest HZL-UX8 release. Too bad it is a limited release and SG wonāt get it, so the NX7 is the next best thing.
Canāt wait to spend more time with this machine on Monday when the boy returns to school. Have only managed to change the feed dog, throat plate and needle before fatigue kicked in for the day... š¤š»I can use this machine properly and effectively!
