My third child, baby Ellery. She had just turned two. I am working on her speech articulation to be clear. In the mean time, I continue to give her inputs with flash cards, similar to what I did for Elijah and Ellie.

Ellery is my third child. She is going through the same training I did with Elijah and Ellie. Ellery's speech articulation is not clear but I continue to give her the inputs. She loves the cards and can identify double digit numbers and all the letters.

Video shows 4.5 yr old Elijah reading his own story book. He took some rough paper,drew, colored and composed a story out of the pictures. pardon the grammar, spelling mistakes and untidy handwriting. All the videos and pics are raw / unedited. Elijah has been reading books with more and more text, but i felt that it isnt about advancing levels by levels, but it should be about what he enjoys....reading should be a lifelong love and since he likes to draw, i decided to buy a book with nice pics on every page, but with very little words...then i encouraged him to combine his two loves - reading and drawing - together. One evening, as i stepped into the house, Elijah excitedly showed me this book which he has written and has asked an adult at home to help him bind. It was delightful to me. The message which i would like to share with parents is : let your child express himself/herself with what he/she likes and allow your child time to indulge in it... it isnt always about advancing vertical levels...it can be horizontal exploration. i will post pics on a pile of elijah''s drawings and the book i bought

Hi, i am a researcher by profession and i make flash cards for my children and for others. Flash cards have proven to work for my children and i would like to conduct a research on your child/children to study the effectiveness of flash cards training.

I will send you a set of flash cards and linking memory cards to use on your child for only 3 days (materials and free and provided). After the last flash cards session on day 3, pls do a short survey, consisting of only 5 questions (which will take 5 mins or less of your time). I will then email you a complimentary soft copy set of story cards (simply print and fold into half. more instructions in email) to thank you for your participation. No names are required and thereby no identity will be revealed.

Child is able to tap/point
