For Pride Month this year, we were grateful to hold space for Ways of Holding — an exhibition bringing together works by Chuen Kah Jun, Alvin Ong, Suhui Hee, and Dylan Chan.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening, and to the artists for sharing their practices with us so generously.

The exhibition remains on view at r y e New Bahru until 27 June, alongside our gift shop and limited-edition Ways of Holding t-shirts. A few works are still available for purchase.

A percentage of profits from the exhibition and gift shop will be donated to Proud Spaces, whose work we are honoured to support this year.

We welcome you to drop by, spend time with the works, and carry something with you 🤍

For this Mother’s Day, r y e reflects on what is Made to Last. Not only objects, but gestures, habits, and ways of being, passed between a mother and daughter.

What is worn, what is remembered, what is returned to over time. Like the pieces we keep close, the bond between a mother and daughter is shaped slowly, through time and wear. Over time, each leaves an imprint on the other, carried forward in how one moves, sees, and is.

We are looking forward to welcoming a Retail Store Manager for our New Bahru space, and a Marketing and Operations Intern to work across the brand.

At the centre of the store, the Retail Store Manager shapes the experience of the space. Holding its rhythm, guiding the team, and caring for each interaction.

Working across the brand, the Marketing and Operations Intern supports the daily life of r y e. Across communications, projects, and operations.
