The benefits for the choice to switch to using reusable bags over the traditional plastic bag comes from the environmental impact.It is estimated that millions of wildlife creatures die each year as a result of plastic rubbish. The decomposition of plastic bags can take anywhere from 15 to a massive 1000 years, meaning they have a long-lasting impact on the environment.

In landfills, disposable plastic bags do not decompose and remain there forever. As time goes by, they break into smaller pieces that can contaminate the soil and water supply. In spite of efforts to recycle plastic bags, the majority of them end up in landfills or as litter. It is possible to reduce the use of disposable plastic bags by switching to reusable bags. Let us take a step towards a cleaner planet by switching to reusable bags.
