3 days before Joyy’s MV + single cover shoot, the dress didn’t arrive.
So I did what I know best — I sewed it myself.
Trained as a fashion designer, now more active as a stylist, but drafting, draping, cutting and sewing… it never really leaves you.
This moment rekindled my love for making. Some skills stay in your blood forever. 🪡✨

It was a year that insisted I slow down.
Health — mine and my mum’s — came first, and life demanded my attention.

Work grew quieter.
And in that silence, I heard assumptions —
from people who had never worked with me.
“Unapproachable.”
“Very fierce.”
“We can’t afford him.”
Judgements made before conversations began.

In a world that celebrates popularity over credibility, getting older revealed a hard truth — perception often moves faster than reality.
The fear of being replaced was real.

But fear has a way of pushing us where comfort never could.
It forced me out of familiar lanes and into new ground.

I chose to adapt.
Connected with the youth. Learned to evolve.
What began as survival turned into a reboot.

The unplanned pauses gifted me time —
to listen inward,
to build routines,
to prepare quietly for what’s ahead.

2025 didn’t look like success.
But it rebuilt me for the long run.
