I wrote my first pattern, put out my first ever tester call, met some lovely & creative & super helpful people along the way and now it’s finally out!🥹

The vest that put me on the Pinterest map.📍

Not this vest in particular, but the way I went about this vest was the same as the vest that got me 152K impressions on Pinterest (scroll to the last pic). Which is crazy because it happened full 3 months after I uploaded it. It made me realize that if I want to get attention on Pinterest, I have to be two things: consistent and patient.🫡

I love my scrap vests because none is the same as the other, and it also speaks about how I view colors and textures & how intuitively I mix them at the time I make them. They’re like my little diary entries.☺️

Helloooooo?? Is it a super cute summer crochet project you’re looking for????☎️

This is my first ever tester call for my first ever pattern!!!!It’s a monumental moment and honestly - just a perfect way to begin the Mercury Retrograde-less journey that’s ahead of us.🥳

This bolero is super easy to make (it took me 2 days of lazy crocheting) and it can be worn all year around.
It’s stretchy, it’s drapey and requires no sewing (just joining with sc).😌

“I have this dress that I love but never wear because the neckline is too revealing.”
I got you!☺️

I used to take custom orders and then I stopped because I felt they limited my creativity. But now I’ve found the middle ground that works for me, so that when someone requests a custom piece, we agree on the colors, the size, and the main function - but everything else is up to me! 👋

The task was clear:
1. it had to match the colors of the dress 💃
2. it needed to be light enough for summer 🌞
3. it had to provide the right amount of coverage 🧡

I really loved the process. Loved!
The result looks a bit different from my usual style, but I think it still carries my signature. And as always, I’m the most grateful for the trust of the client! 🫶
