The impossible will take a little whileโฆ
Being an entrepreneur in Sierra Leone is waking up every day between
I know that feeling all too well: moving between giving up and getting back up; telling yourself you canโt do this for another day, then finding just enough energy for one more.
Your heart swings like a pendulum.
Because this isnโt about profit. Itโs about proof.
Proof that something can work here. Be built here. Succeed here.
One day youโre done. Next day youโre digging deep again.
This life we chose is bigger than revenue. Bigger than income.
So failing doesnโt feel personal.
It feels like failing a country.
Quitting the business feels like quitting on Sierra Leone.
Because when we set out to do the impossible, it was mostly to prove that Sierra Leone can.
Thatโs the weight Salone founders carry.
Thatโs what it costs to build here.
And thatโs why we donโt quit.
