YFC South Sudan is a Christian Movement entrusted to reach young people with the gospel whenever they are and to work with the local churches in South Sudan.

As we marked our 25th Friday of the year, we were grateful for a blessed time with the youth at the center as we shared the good news of Christ together.
Our main series focused on:
“How can we break generational curses through Christ?”
Main Scripture:
Galatians 3:13
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.’”
So much was shared, including:
• What does it mean that Christ redeemed us?
• God can start a new story through you
• How can young people walk in freedom?
Relevant Scriptures:
📖 John 8:36 – “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…”
📖 Isaiah 10:27 – “…the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”
Conclusion (Galatians 3:13)
This verse reminds us that Jesus took upon Himself the punishment and curse of the law so that we could be set free. Through His sacrifice, believers are no longer bound by sin’s penalty but are redeemed and made right with God. It reveals the depth of Christ’s love and the power of salvation available to all who believe.

Friday Connect Session

Our Friday Connect session was truly inspiring and impactful. Our topic of the day was drawn from Proverbs 16:3 (ESV):

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

The discussion centered on the theme: "Work Smart and Trust God." We shared valuable lessons and practical insights that can guide us in our daily lives, careers, studies, and personal growth.

Key Lessons Learned
1.Work diligently and make wise use of your talents and abilities.
2.Plan carefully and seek God's wisdom in every decision you make.
3.Commit every goal, dream, and ambition to God through prayer.
4.Trust God's timing, even when success does not come immediately.
5.Remember that true and lasting success comes from God's blessing upon our efforts.

As we continue our journey, may we remain faithful in our work, steadfast in prayer, and confident in God's guidance. When we commit our plans to Him, He directs our paths and establishes our steps.

Today, as we close the first week of June, we give thanks to God for a wonderful time spent with our computer students at the center.
We were blessed with meaningful activities, including Bible study, Bible verse discussions, and questions on computer basics, along with short tests that helped strengthen their understanding. The whole session was joyful, peaceful, and full of learning.
We also thank God that the top five students were recognized and awarded reading materials to help improve and develop their reading skills even further. It was truly a moment of encouragement and growth for everyone.
We give all glory to God for guiding us through this successful day

Through our school ministry, we are witnessing God transform the lives of young people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many students are giving their lives to Christ, growing in faith, and becoming bold witnesses in their schools and communities.

Through Bible teaching, prayer, and discipleship, we are helping raise a generation that knows and loves God. We thank God for every life changed and every soul saved, and we remain committed to reaching more young people with the life-changing message of Christ.

It was truly a blessing to see young people come together to share, learn, and grow in the Gospel of Christ. Our Nation Director, James Thomas Ochuho had a wonderful time teaching, inspiring, and encouraging the young people of AIC Lologo the Great.

Today’s devotion was from the book of Epistle to the Galatians 6:9.
Theme:
Working Hard During Hard Times
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Life is not always easy, but God encourages us to remain faithful and hardworking during difficult seasons. Hard times build our faith, character, and perseverance.
Key Lessons
1.Do not give up easily
2.Hard work has rewards

5.God sees our struggles
6.Challenges build strong character
7.Faith and action must work together

We were also blessed to receive wonderful visitors from Youth for Christ Sudan who paid us a visit.

We are grateful for the opportunity God has given us to minister, serve, and impact the next generation of young people. It is truly a blessing to witness lives being transformed and souls being won for Christ.
During our visit, we were able to hand over Reach for Life Bibles and the inspiring novel Ten People Who Are About to Change Your Life, helping to guide and encourage them as they strengthen their faith and grow spiritually in Christ.

As we step into this new week, may our hearts be filled with gratitude to God for the gift of life, health, and the strength to begin again. Every new week is a reminder of His mercy and faithfulness that never ends.

We thank God for our country, South Sudan, and we pray for peace, unity, and stability across every community. May healing replace division, and may hope rise in every home and heart.

We also lift up our young people into God’s hands. May they be guided with wisdom, protected from harm, and empowered with opportunities to grow, learn, and succeed. Let their dreams not be delayed, and may their future shine brightly.

As we go through the activities of this week—work, studies, ministry, and daily responsibilities—may God grant us strength, focus, and favor. May every plan be aligned with His purpose, and may success follow the work of our hands.

As we kick off this fresh and blessed week, we thank God for the wonderful session we had and for how greatly Christ continues to work in our lives. 🙏✨

We had a powerful Bible reading that reminded us that, as young people, God is not only calling us to hear His word, but also to live it every day through love, honesty, respect, forgiveness, and kindness. Let us continue to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and become a light to this generation. ❤️

The teaching does not end here — let us go out and impact more lives, encourage one another, and spread the love and message of Christ everywhere we go.

May this new week be filled with wisdom, peace, growth, success, and God’s favor upon each one of us.
